Judy Badot grew up in a small town on the south shore of Massachusetts. Her earliest memories are of walking the woods with her grandfather where he gave her a love and appreciation of the natural world that has never diminished. After raising her family she lived in Boston’s South End for 20 years. She was a student at the Kaji Aso Art Studio in Boston for a year. Now living in New Hampshire she has been a student of watercolor with Evelien Bachrach Seeger at the Sharon Arts Center and is currently taking watercolor classes with Mia Mead.
Judy has had a life-long love of art in various forms and was drawn to the medium of watercolor because of the ‘suspenseful’ process and visceral experience of putting brush, loaded with fluid color, to paper.
