Phyllis Clark was born in Chicopee Massachusetts. She received a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Med and Biology from the University of New Hampshire. She also attended St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY where she received her certificate to teach art in New York and adjacent states. Phyllis always had an avid interest in art, but was only an “occasional” painter in the early years. Many years were spent teaching and raising a family of four with her husband Russ. It is only in recent years that she has been able to actively pursue her love of art and painting. At 85 years Phyllis plans on being able to continue her enjoyment of art for many, many more years. She now resides at her home of 25 years, Maple Crest, in East Washington, New Hampshire.
